So as you can see there was damage to the sides and the counter. You don't see it in the picture but, the front left two tiles came up as well. So now it was time to start repairing the rain damage. I planned on fixing the counter first then adding the plastering to the oven dome and then working on the base.
The purpose of this project is to build a functional, aesthetically pleasing and evironmentaly responsible outdoor kitchen and dining area primarily made out of adobe and cob. The intent is to use locally found and or recycled materials in order to complete the project with very little cost.

The Monsoon Strikes Back
So after the first layer of plastering on the base was done we left it for a day to dry out before we started on the next layer. Unfortunately this is when the car broke down. While working on the car the monsoon rains hit us. I was able to get the car finished between the rains but, we had rain for days and it affected the oven.
